Brand pack
What a brand's pack holds, how it is trained from your material, and what it is compared against.
Studio, Brand: one pack per brand, in six drawers
A brand pack is what the agents know about a house that they did not know before: its Design language, its Boundaries, its Positioning, its Signature work, its Material & craft and its Components. Each drawer holds entries in plain words, with the source each came from. Open a brand under Brand in Studio to read them; Brand DNA is the pack itself.
Training
Entries are read-only in the pack; they are written by training. Press Start training on a drawer and a trainer works through the material you have given the brand, saving what it finds as entries (Saving to brand pack), correcting an entry that turned out wrong (Repairing a brand pack entry) and retiring one that no longer holds (Retiring a brand pack entry). It reports how many entries a turn saved. Stop ends the run; a run that hits its step limit waits for you to press Start training again or type continue. You can also Add one by hand.
Prices and signature pieces
Two things a trainer does that a reader cannot: Scanning the official site prices, which reads the brand's own site for what its pieces sell at, and Ranking signature pieces, which sorts the work by how much of the house it carries. A later run reads the scan it already has (Reading the last price scan) rather than scanning again.
Compared with the general model
Comparing with the general model sets the pack against the strongest general models: for a set of pieces, what an agent carrying this pack says beside what a plain model says. The general model's answers come out as the colourless dashed outline, so the difference the pack makes is the thing you see.
Export and import
Export brand pack saves the pack as a file; Import brand pack reads entries back in from one. A pack can travel between accounts that way, with everything it has learned.
Helping the pack
Whether what you train may improve the pack for whoever holds it
Helping the pack is a switch on the brand, asked once as Let DuoHand use this training: Allow or Don't allow. On, what you train can be used to improve this pack, as written, rewritten, or as a starting point, and it ships with the pack to whoever holds it. Once it has gone out it cannot be taken back; switching it off only stops future use. This is separate from the training switch under Settings, Data, which is about DuoHand itself.
Questions
The pack
The pack says nothing is stored yet.
It has not been trained. Give the brand material, pictures of its work, its catalogue, its site, and press Start training on a drawer; entries appear as the trainer saves them.
An entry is wrong.
Train the drawer again with the correction in the material or in the training chat; the trainer repairs or retires the entry. Entries are not edited by hand in the pack, so that every line keeps its source.
Who can see a brand pack?
The people in the collection's room, the same as everything else in Studio; and whoever you export it to.
