Files and the bin
Everything you brought in or DuoHand made, in one library; and what deleting does.
Files in the sidebar is the library; Images is the same library, pictures only
Every file that has passed through your account is here, newest first: what you uploaded, what a chat produced, what a project or a collection's portfolio holds, and your templates. The row of filters at the top narrows it: Everywhere, Your uploads, Chats, Projects, Portfolio, Templates. Press a file to open it in the viewer; select several and Start chat to begin a conversation with them attached.
Deleting
A deleted file goes to Recently deleted, where it stays for the time the bin's own note states, and Restore brings it back. Nothing is gone yet: the file is still in storage and a share of it still opens.
Deleting for good
Delete now on a file in the bin, or Empty bin for all of it, removes the file itself. That is the step that cannot be undone, and the step that closes any address the file had. The bin also empties itself when a file's time is up; the date is shown on each.
What lives where
A file you upload in a chat belongs to that chat and shows under Chats. A file filed into a collection is in that collection's portfolio and shows under Portfolio. A template you keep for the assistant to work from shows under Templates.
Questions
The library
I deleted a file from a chat. Is it gone from the collection too?
It went to the bin, from everywhere it was shown. Restore it and it is back everywhere; delete it for good and it is gone everywhere.
How much room do I have?
Settings, Storage shows what is used and, if the account has a limit, how much of it. Storage is that page.
Can the assistant see all of this?
In a chat, it sees what you attach. In a collection, whether it may read the portfolio is a switch in Room settings, Portfolio access; Room settings has it.
