Voice
Speaking instead of typing, having a reply read aloud, and the two rows in Settings that shape both.

Dictate in the row under the text box listens while you speak and writes it down; Stop dictating ends it, and the words wait in the box for you to Use this or Cancel. Read aloud on a reply speaks it, with Play, Pause, Stop and a Speed control. Settings, Voice chooses the voice that reads and the language the microphone listens for.
Dictating
Speak in whichever language you think in. Dictation language is set to Auto-detect unless you change it, and auto-detect handles a sentence that switches language halfway. What you said appears as text you can still edit before sending, so a misheard word costs a keystroke, not a reply.
Reading aloud
Any reply can be read to you. Voice in Settings picks the voice; Play sample lets you hear it before choosing. Speed is set on the player itself, per reply.
What it costs
Voice is its own line under Settings, Usage, so what dictation and reading aloud cost in a month is visible on its own.

The microphone button does nothing.
The browser has refused the microphone, or cannot record at all; the app says which. Allow the microphone for duohand.com in the browser's site settings and try again.
It wrote down the wrong words.
Edit them in the box before sending. If it keeps happening in one language, set Dictation language to that language instead of Auto-detect.
Which company hears my voice?
Speech goes to the provider the privacy page names for voice, and nowhere else. The privacy page lists every company in the chain.
